Do Not Let the Victory Turn into a Still-Born Victory

Secessionist “Somaliland”, or as they are known by most Somalis as “SomaliDiid”  (those who deny their Somalism), has been conspiring in recent years to accumulate resources, both men and material, to plant seeds of division among us and invade and occupy our clan territory. Unfortunately, as we all know they succeeded on October 15, 2007 in achieving their evil objectives; thanks to treacherous collaboration they received from local traitors and  opportunists.

This assessment is reflected in the Declaration that came out as a result of the recent Sool Sanaag and Cayn’s (SSC) Leadership Conference (Boocame 3), which took place in November, 2007, following Somaliland invasion and occupation of our regional capital, Las Anod.

SSC Liberation Front, propelled by the legacy of the Darawiish, fully supports the Boocaame 3 Declaration and hence forth commits itself to fulfilling its goals, namely the immediate and total liberation of our territory from SNM “Somaliland” occupiers, and the punishment of the few mercenaries from our regions.

SSC Liberation Front, emboldened by the declared unity of our people in Boocame, pledges to spare no life and limb to cleanse every inch of our soil from the aggressors who are basically the same SNM militia that attacked our soil in the 1980s and earlier as part of a heinous scheme aimed solely at expansion and land grab.

The SSC communities have achieved an initial victory at Boocaame by uniting and focusing on the immediate task on hand, namely the need to expel the invaders.  Therefore, Brothers and Sisters, Do Not! Repeat, Do Not,  Let that Victory Turn into a Still-Born Victory. Let us pool our resources as our enemies did and, in memory of our Warrior Forefathers, recapture our pride, remove the stains of indignity and expel the ‘Somali Deniers’ from our soil.   (Guushu yay dhicisoobin)
